Kelly Anne Parsons, known professionally as Kelly Brook, was born on 23 November 1979 in Rochester, Kent, England, to Sandra, a cook, and Kenneth Parsons, a scaffolder. She grew up with a younger brother, Damian, and an older half-sister, Sasha, and attended Thomas Aveling School before studying dance, drama, and singing for three years at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Standing 5 feet 6 inches tall with a curvaceous, hourglass figure, striking features, and a confident, glamorous on-screen presence, Brook became widely recognized as a British sex symbol and one of the country’s most photographed models. She launched her modeling career at 16 after winning a beauty competition her mother entered her into, quickly appearing as a Page 3 girl and landing major advertising campaigns. Her look—often highlighted by her blonde hair, expressive eyes, and radiant smile—led to numerous magazine covers, including GQ, Maxim, and FHM, and she was voted FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World.
Brook successfully expanded from modeling into television presenting and acting. She co-hosted The Big Breakfast, appeared on MTV, and later became a familiar face on British entertainment shows such as Celebrity Juice, Loose Women, and Strictly Come Dancing. Her acting credits include a role in Smallville, the NBC sitcom One Big Happy as Prudence, and a prominent part in the 2010 horror-comedy Piranha 3D. Additional film work spans Survival Island, House of 9, The Italian Job, and other British and international productions. In recent years she has co-presented Heart London’s drivetime radio show and continued to appear on reality and entertainment television. Combining early modeling success, a distinctive physical presence, and a versatile career across film, television, and radio, Kelly Brook has remained a prominent and enduring figure in British popular culture for nearly three decades.
